Brian Frazier

Brian Frazier was born on September 19, 1975 to Geraldine Frazier and Sunny Harris. He attended Simeon H.S. where he first learned carpentry, learning skills that lasted throughout life. He graduated in 1993. Brian worked for Pitney Bowes, and later worked for Marvin Windows. Always the business man, he started his own company, “Network Construction,” he did home rehabs and construction work, he would later work at People's Energy as a supervisor. A job he truly loved and worked hard to make a good name for himself. The PG team were like family to him. Brain married his beautiful wife Khandice Sturdivant in September 1999. They had two children, Brian Charles Frazier II (BJ) and David Allan Frazier. Brian aka “Big B” or “B” was an intelligent, hardworking, self-driven loving man. He loved being around people and tried to make them happy. Who could resist that bright, beaming smile! Brian loved his family and especially loved being a father, he loved doing things together with his family, like vacations and the water parks. Brian loved working with his hands and owned many tools, it was no surprise to discover that he had multiple sets of the same tool. He loved showing his boys how to use those tools, and watching them become little craftsmen, learning skills they could use for a lifetime. “B” loved cooking and being on the grill. He loved playing basketball and just loved sports in general. He loved his Chicago Bears. He was an avid video gamer and loved to play with his son David, always managing to win even with his eyes closed. Brian loved shopping, as if on a mission to prove shopping isn't just for the ladies. Everyone knows before “Google” there was Brian. If you needed to find a great place to eat just call “B.” and hear him say, “ I got something for you.” Once you got to know Brian you knew he had something to say, some advice to give on any number of subjects, and you just had to listen rather you wanted to or not. One of his earliest loves was for his God Jehovah, when he symbolized his dedication to Jehovah and was baptized at the age of 13. Everyone who knew him knew he loved to talk, in the earlier years he loved talking about his God, either at someone's door or in his congregation. He was often privileged to teach at the congregation book study, something he truly prized. Brian fell asleep in death on January 22, 2018. He was preceded in death by his mom and his wife just recently. The loss of the most important women in his life was devastating to him. What helped Brian can help us all, Brian knew from the Bible, we were not meant to die, (Gen. 2:17). He knew one day no one will die, (Rev. 21:3,4). One day, no more funerals, or cemeteries. Brian believed in the Bible's hope of a resurrection, (John 5:28,29). It is this hope that can help heal and comfort us all. Brian leaves behind his sons, BJ and David; his brothers, Pierre James Calhoun and Edward Frazier (wife Denise); his grandmother, Jessie (Sug) Breadfort; niece, Kierra Calhoun; aunts, uncle, and a host of cousins and friends.
