Cheryl Hudson

Cheryl Robinson-Hudson was born January 29, 1964 to the union of Charlie and Bessie Robinson in Chicago, Illinois. Cheryl met Kenneth and together they were blessed with five beautiful children, Derek, Kenneth Jr., Eboni, Cynthia and Mark, all of whom died March 13, 1990 in Madison, Wisconsin due to a residential fire. She later met and married Eddie Hudson after her relocation to St. Paul, Minnesota. Cheryl enjoyed shopping with her sister Debra, day in/day out, wearing different hair styles...long and short. Eating out with her sisters was always a joy for Cheryl, but dancing with her brother Mark sat the steppers down on the dance floor. It gives the family great joy to know Cheryl had the opportunity to dance her last dance with Mark on February 7, 2015, at her celebration of life with family and friends. During her illness and treatments she was always surrounded by her sisters and brothers. Juel, her devoted brother-in-law, was always available to assist in any and all support needed for Cheryl as well. Even while ill, Cheryl managed to joke and continue to make us smile. She had a smile and dimples that would brighten anybody's day. Her smile will always remain in our hearts. Cheryl love of God led her to study the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses. She wanted to be an active part of the congregation so she would both listen and comment via the telephone tie in line. On April 12, 2015 at 1:25 a.m. at Mercy Hospital, Cheryl lost her battle against Cancer. Her family looks forward to a time when no resident will say I am sick, and the family will be reunited on a paradise earth. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Bessie Robinson; and her five beautiful children, Derek, Kenneth Jr., Eboni, Cynthia and Mark. Cheryl leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Eddie; her sisters and brothers, Debra, Denise, Elleniz (Juel), Mark, Jeffery (Sherrie) and Derek (Jean); special friends, Edward, Florence and Sonya; 15 nieces, 11 nephews, 21 great nieces, 38 great nephews, 6 great-great nieces, 5 great-great nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.
