Chris Hollis-Walker

Chris “Lil Pete” Hollis-Walker was born on July 7, 1989 in Chicago Heights, Illinois to Sally Villagomez and Christopher Hollis. At an early age Chris accepted Christ as his savior under the leadership of Bishop Gregory St. James Dillard and Lady Robin Dillard. Chris was an all-around man; he was outgoing, funny and enjoyed helping others as much as he could. He enjoyed driving cars, he loved money and he loved women. Chris was a loving family man always providing for his family, his children were the center of his world. Because of the love Chris felt from his family and adoptive parents, he had a special way with people always making them feel included in his life. He loved his grandparents and he took special care of them, doing things like going to get them coffee every day. He would take care of the small things for other family members too, like helping one of his sisters move…no matter what, family was first in his life. On Wednesday, February 5, 2014, the Lord called Chris Hollis-Walker to his new home. He was preceded in death by Cardeal Villagomez and Antione Walker. Chris “Lil Pete” Hollis-Walker was blessed to have three mothers and three fathers in his life. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly by all who knew him, but he especially leaves to cherish loving memories, his three mothers: Sally Villagomez, Bessie Walker and Angela Franklin; his three fathers: Christopher Hollis, Willie Walker and Abel Barnes; his grandmothers: Bernice Hollis, Sally Walker and Vergie Martin; four children: Chris Jr., Keithen L. Rice, Taniya Hollis-Walker and his unborn, Nevaeh Hollis-Walker; twelve sisters: Monique Barnes, Katina Villagomez (Darren Richardson), Crystal Hollis-Walker, Chanelle B., Latrice H., Suprisia V., Dominique B., Alexis B., Imani B., Vergie J., Christine H. and Ciera H.; three brothers: Cardeal V., Demetrius J. and Montral Barnes; his best friends: Chris Covington and Darren Richardson; his favorite cousin: Joseph Walker; two special women in his life: Ashley Hudson and Antwanette Knight; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
