Mr. Curtis Richardson

Curtis A. Richardson was born to his loving mother Louise Richardson on May 24, 1957, in Chicago, Illinois and was raised by his loving grandmother or the first years of his life. After this time, he later was raised by his mother Louise and her husband, Henry Moore Sr. Curtis Richardson attended South Shore High School in Chicago, where he enjoyed playing basketball. He was a diligent worker, and worked for the city of Chicago in the garbage disposal department for over nine years. He was a loving husband and father to Jeanette Bolden, (married name is now Jeanette Strange) in his early twenties, for five years, and she remembers him as being a gentle and quiet soul. She bore him a daughter named Anita L. Richardson. He later became the loving partner of Gloria Harris, who bore him another daughter named Natasha Curtisa Richardson (married name now is Natasha Davis). He later became the loving partner of Linda Lockheart who bore him a son named Anthony Richardson. Curtis was loved by his family and those who knew him. He always had a gentle smile and a smooth walk. If he could’ve been a part of a group, it would’ve been the five heartbeats. He was handsome, dressed sharp, and tall. He was nick-named “Tree” because he was 6.5. He loved playing the best songs from the 80’s and 90’s, and riding in a nice clean car. He had a niche for drawing and was very much into self-development and had many certificates to show his accomplishments. At one time in his life he was deeply involved in his local church and served the pastor faithfully in a leadership capacity. He understood the importance of having God in his life and said one day “He (God) is too big to ignore”. While Curtis he was a private man, he would open-up eventually to the patient listeners. On February 19, 2023, Curtis made his transitioned from this earth to eternity. He was preceded in death by his mother Louise and her husband Henry, his grandmother, and one sister Cynthia Richardson. He leaves behind his memories with his 3 children, Anita L. Richardson, Natasha Richardson (Davis), and Anthony Richardson; his two brothers Christopher Richardson, Michael Richardson, and Willie James Moore; his sister Johnnie Moore; six grandchildren Briasha Richardson, Brittney Richardson, Bria Richardson, Taniyah Nathan, Tatiana Richardson, and Keilen Richardson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
