Eddie Alex Rose Sr. was born on July 19, 1966 in Chicago, Illinois to Chester A. Rose who was born in Beatyville, Kentucky and Romilda M. Rose is from Demopolis, Alabama. He was survived by his wife of 31 years Katherine L. Rose; three sons Altyrone Deno Brown (Monique Brown), Lazayrius Nikko Stevens, and Eddie Alex Rose III; two grandchildren MeKhi Modest and the love of his life Little Miss Aubrey Rose Brown; ten brothers and sisters Chester A. Rose Jr. (Marie Rose), Willie D. Haskin, Katha L. Gletten, Evelyn L. Washington, Phillip Rose, Susie A. Peoples, Hazel R. Brevard (Andrienne Brevard), Elizabeth L. Rose, and Martin D. Rose (Angela Rose). Eddie is loved by aunts, uncles, and a vast of cousins, nieces, nephews, and numerous friends. E.A.R.S. departed this life at Advocate Christ Medical Center on August 16, 2020 at 4:10 p.m. He was truly never alone. He was not only a loving and devoted husband. He always gave 210% to everything. There is a saying that the way a man treats and honors his mother will be represented by how he treats and honors his wife, and the love and compassion he has and had shown for his mom Mrs. Romilda Rose is undeniable phenomenal. Mom, Eddie loved you from the depths of his “soul”. I would always say to years E.A.R.S. you have to know you to deeply love because WE all know that Eddie at times can become quite rambunctious, and through it all you would still continued to love, respect and enjoy in company with Eddie Rose. I have seen and been through many stages of Eddie’s life, and what I will share with everyone is the day that Eddie became an employee with the City of Chicago was the second “BEST” day of his life...because the first day was marrying “ME”...lol...during those few short years, he was shown what true friendship means. He was shown appreciation for his hard work, commitment, and loyal dedication by his “Bosses”...the first time he has ever felt appreciated because it has NEVER been displayed in the “past” and Eddie always gave 210% in everything he was involved in, it was “All or Nothing” with Mr. Eddie Rose and he cherished his boss’s with all of his heart and was extremely grateful for the awesome opportunity. E.A.R.S. You are definitely loved and respected by many. You have etched the name Eddie Rose in so many hearts. I just only wish you were here to finally SEE YOUR WORTH that you have shown for many, many years. E.A.R.S. YOU ARE SO LOVED AND WILL DEFINITELY BE MISSED BY ALL. He was preceded in death by his father Chester A. Rose and his brother Ronny E. Rose.
