Ludella Hutton

A Time To Be Born: Evangelist Ludella Hutton, affectionately known as “T.T.” was born February 17th, 1949 in Pace, Mississippi to Pastor L.T. Hutton Sr. and Mother Mary Lee Hutton. She was the oldest child of 13. Ludella accepted Christ in 1963, at the age of 14 yrs old, under Bishop B.E. Goodwin Sr. known as “PA-PA”. Ludella received her early education at Cottage Grove Elementary School and Bloom Township High School. A Time To Be Loved: In June 1969, Ludella Hutton was united in Holy Matrimony to Elder Harrison Bolton. To this union two children were born, Patrick D. Bolton and Christopher L. Bolton. Ludella was a dedicated woman of God who loved the Lord and her two boys. A Time To Serve: Music and singing ran throughout her entire family. Ludella recorded albums with the Trinity All Nations Choir under the leadership of the Late Dr. Doris Evelyn Davis and the New Holy Ghost Deliverance Center COGIC were she served as Minister of Music. Ludella also served as the District Min. Of Music for the Good News District under the leadership of the Late Pastor James Harris Sr., State YPWW Minister of Music for the 5th Illinois Jurisdiction under the late Bishop Samuel S. McCarthy. She also served as Jurisdictional Minister of Music for the 7th Illinois Jurisdiction under the Leadership of Bishop Edward Goodwin Sr. She later went on to serve as a District Missionary in California Southwest Jurisdiction. In 2001, Ludella graduated from Compton College where she received her degree in Childhood Development. Ludella was known as a good down home Mississippi cook, her turkey and dressing, peach cobbler and coconut pineapple cake was absolutely 2nd to none. She was a hard worker and definitely a leader. Ludella was stern and didn’t mind telling you exactly how she felt with no filter. A true woman of God. She worked and served in the ministry up until the time she was sick. A Time To Die Ludella departed this life on July 9th, 2018 at 6:15 a.m. She was proceeded in death by her parents: Pastor L.T. Hutton and Mother Mary Lee Hutton, four brothers: L.T. Hutton Jr., Elder Fenner Hutton, Elder Charles Hutton and Elder Brian Hutton; and one sister: Denise Hutton French. Ludella leaves to cherish her memory two loving sons: Patrick D. Bolton (Nikki) and Christopher L. Bolton; two grandchildren: Patrick Bolton Jr. and Rain Bolton; five brothers: Phillip Hutton, Alvin Hutton (Tonya), Fletcher Hutton, Elder Maurice Hutton (Charlene) and Pastor Rodney Hutton (Stephanie); two sisters: Rosetta Hutton Catlett (William) and District Missionary Charlotte Hutton Luckett (Robert); five aunts: Tommie S. McGee, Lucy Moore, Sara Walker (Henry), Gloria Griffin (Toboria) and Bertha Cummings (William); two uncles: Pastor J.L. Hutton (Mattie) and Bennie Hutton; 120 nieces and nephews and a host friends. A few special friends who she loved very dearly, Janet Brown, Nora Kelly and Helen Mullins. Her favorite nephew L.T. Hutton “Lil T” whom she loved so dearly, who faithfully stood by her side during her sickness.
