Rene' Miller

Rene’ Emil Miller, was born on November 28, 1952 to Brother and Sister John and Beatrice Miller, who preceded him in death in Chicago, Illinois. Rene’ fell asleep in death on Saturday, November 7, 2020. On May 6, 1967, Rene’ symbolized his dedication to Jehovah God and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He served Jehovah for 53 years until his death. Rene’ attended Ruggles Elementary School from K-8th grade, graduated in 1966, attended Hirsch High School, and graduated in 1970. Immediately after graduating from high school, Rene’ served as a Regular Pioneer for two years. He worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Holding many positions, and working in various departments, his last position was a Benefits Counselor. He had to retire in 1992 because of a serious heart condition. Rene’ was a private person, although he was passionate about his Christian ministry, always offering a rewarding hope for the future by means of God‘s Kingdom, the only hope for mankind to persons he preached to. He served as a Ministerial Servant and as an Attendant at many assemblies and conventions. Whenever Rene’ was called upon to substitute for an assignment in the Life in Ministry Meeting he was available as long as his health allowed. In 1990, Rene’ married Haruko Stigger-Miller and they were together for 30 years, and he had one child his daughter Ginea Danielle Miller, Haruko’s stepdaughter. Rene’ also had a fun side as well, he participated in recreational activities. He had a love for music specifically instrumental jazz while simulating playing the piano. Rene’ is survived by his wife, Haruko; daughter Ginea Danielle; one sister Marilyn C. Miller; one brother Eric J. Miller (Pamela); and a host of loving friends.
