Ruby Randle

Ruby Randle was born June 1936 in Cheneyville, Louisiana to the union of Mr. Morgan Anderson and Susie Larry. She came to Chicago in 1943 where she graduated from Wendell Phillips High School and later obtained an Associate Degree from Chicago State University. Ruby met her life-long partner, Warren Randle soon after graduating high school. On June 25, 1956 they united in marriage. From this union, she bore 8 children: Warren Jr., Valarie, Ruben, Dawn, Darren, Elizabeth, Raymond and Darnell. Ruby was a dignified, devoted and loving Christian wife and mother who was as protective as a mama lion when it came to her family. Despite this, she was quick to laugh and took pleasure in life. She enjoyed eating out, traveling, classical music and the theater. She always searched for knowledge and found it when she came to know Jehovah God. She loved Jehovah greatly and vowed to never let him go. She symbolized that commitment in baptism on June 14, 1975. She often talked of Jehovah's marvelous qualities and how life would be in paradise. Her faith in him never diminished. She sought to raise her children to know and to love him, as she did, appreciating his wonderful qualities. On May 28, 2014, Ruby Randle fell asleep in death in the company of family. Her loved ones look forward to her awakening from death to smile and embrace them again. She appreciated and held tight God's promise that "He will actually swallow up death forever....will certainly wipe the tears from all faces" Isaiah 25:8. Ruby looked forward to the time when the sting of death would end and "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" John 5:28. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Eugene M. Anderson; sisters, Eartha Barnes and Catherine Spencer; grandson, John E. Brown Jr.; granddaughter, Diamond Randle; in-laws, James (Martha) Randle and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 57 years, Warren Sr.; children, Warren Jr. (Carolyn), Valarie (Charles), Ruben E. (Donna), Dawn M. (Vincent), Darren (Evelyn), Elizabeth, Raymond L. (Charletta) and Darnell (Shanita); 23 grandchildren, Terrance Randle, Anwar S. Randle, Jammal D. Randle, Kyle L. Randle, LaShaunta M. Brown, Che'vanah Griffin, Stephan Randle, Ethan M. Randle, Lawrence Johnson, Anise Johnson, Jesse F. Stapleton III, Rayshenell E. Randle, James E. Taylor IV, Raymon D. Randle, Emerald Randle, Ruby Randle, Ruben Randle, Raymond C. Randle, Rashad Randle, Raven S. Randle, Darnesha S. Randle, Dakota S. Randle, Darnell S. Randle; 16 great grandchildren; one uncle, Clarence Larry; in-laws, Rosie McCullah, John (Samella), the Spencers, Barnes, Randle extended families and a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
