Annette Marrie Crockett-Reed, was born on July 2, 1962 in Chicago, IL, to the union of the late Arlington G. Crockett, Sr. and Addean Crockett, both whom preceded her in their home going. Annette was the youngest of six siblings born to this union; one of whom: Arlington Glenn Crockett, Jr. also preceded her in death. Annette accepted Christ and was baptized as Catholic at Our Lady of the Gardens at an early age. She also received her first communication and confirmation by the time she was 8 years old. Later in life she a Baptist Church. She attended Carver High School and pursued a career in home-healthcare, helping the elderly and disabled adults. She was also a dedicated employee of Walmart, Inc. She remained committed to both employers until the date of her demise. Annette, affectionately known as Nette or Nettie, Mom, Mommy, Ma, Granny, and Sister. She was loved by all whom were acquainted with her. She was our Rock of her family, and a loving and tender person. She had a kind heart, a tender spirit, and was very loving and giving to all who were part of her circle. Annette unconditionally Loved her children and grandchildren, and we were her pride and joy. She enjoyed family gatherings, she Loved bowling, dancing, and cooking. Her family and friends were her passion and delight. On January 30, 2020, Annette Crockett-Reed suddenly left our lives and made her transition into the arms of Jesus. Those who knew Annette are confident she is seeing Jesus face to face, but let it be known she will be missed as a Wife, Mother, Mom, Ma, Granny, Sister, Auntie, Sister-in-Law, and Friend. Annette leaves to cherish her memory, Tony Reed (Husband); Daughters, Leasha (Charlie), Antoinette, Sierra,Charity, and Tonae; Sons, William and Lil Tony; Grandchildren, Romeo, Za’Mya, Kaia, and Kaiden; Brothers Aaron, Sr. (Gwen) and David, Sr.; Sisters Aera, and Arlean (Melvin); Sister-In-Laws, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
