Charles Alexander Betton

Charles Alexander Betton was born on June 11, 1978 to Lee Porter and Charles Betton. Charles was the second oldest of six children. He was affectionately known as Seneca (Sinbad & Ike). Seneca attended Scott Joplin Elementary School and Neal F. Simeon High School. He later attained his GED. Seneca was raised by his mother and father Theodore Gibbons. They did their best to ensure he grew up to be a fine respectable man. He was a very proud father to both of his lovely daughters, Senkyra and Seniyah. He was a lovely and caring person to his significant other, Melinda. Seneca will forever be remembered for caring for his friends, family and especially his mother Lee. Most importantly, making sure everyone was good. His loyalty to everyone best sums it all up. Seneca fell asleep in death November 12, 2018. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Sadie and Sylvester Porter; great aunt Katie Carr; and father Theodore Gibbons. Seneca leaves to cherish his precious memories, his mother Lee; father Charles Betton; daughters Senkyra and Seniyah; five siblings Sharon, Christopher (Charya), Runako, Lance and Patrick; his nieces Leeasia and Aniya; nephews Deon, Jauron, Christopher Jr., Rushaun and Lamontez; and his “A” one since day one Khayyan (KD); and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and long life friends that will truly miss him.
