Charles Willie Sanders III was born to Ceiberia Cathey and Charles Willie Sanders II on November 8, 1994. Charles, affectionately known as Chuck, was the Son-Shine of his mother’s life. He was an only child and she cherished him as a gift from Jehovah. She did her best to raise him to love Jehovah and respect Bible principles. In 2013, Charles symbolized his dedication to Jehovah and was baptized. In 2015, he met his wife, and they solidified their relationship by marriage on April 15, 2017. To this union, two beautiful boys were born, twins. Being a dad came easy for Chuck. He loved his boys and they loved him. Being a father was the highlight of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his boys, taking them places and teaching them new things. Charles was educated through the Chicago Public School system. He went on to work in the food service industry. He was not afraid of hard work. He worked as a team member and manager at several restaurants including, Taco Bell, Chipotles and 5 Guys. At the time of his death he was working for the United States Postal Service. Chuck enjoyed sports, music and movies. He was an old soul with a big heart. He will be remembered by his big smile and warm hugs that he greeted people with. On Saturday, February 10, 2022, Charles (Chuck) closed his eyes and fell asleep in death. He’s now in Jehovah’s memory. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Larraine Harris-Townes, Betty Sanders and Charles Sanders Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Ceiberia Cathey; father Charles W. Sanders II (Sabrina); maternal grandfather John Henry; wife; twin sons Jamaal Romeo Sanders and Damien James Sanders; aunts, AInnelia Tunner, Lucinda Sanders, Kathy Sanders, and Jenny Sanders; uncles Percy Harris, John Townes, Kenneth Townes, Rodney Sanders, and Emanuel Sanders; siblings Deshauna Sanders, MyShon Sanders, Shawn C. Sanders, and Michael Eggleston; his in-laws; his stepfather Henry Cathey; and along with a host of great aunts/uncles, cousins, nieces/nephews and close friends. Chuck was genuine, very caring, and loved people. He was in good spirits and he loved life. His favorite place in Chicago was downtown. Everyone who met Chuck loved his kind and generous personality.. Chuck will truly be missed!
