Mrs. Clara Stokes

Clara Renee Stokes was born on October 8, 1966, in Crowder, Mississippi, to the parents of David Lee Stokes and Mary Lee Boyd-Stokes. She was baptized on October 12, 1980, at Holbrook Church of Christ. Clara attended Senn High School and then attended Truman College to obtain her GED. During those years. she pursued her modeling career. Later she attended Saint Augustine College to obtain her CNA license and work in that field for over ten years. Clara was a very loving, devoted wife, mother, aunt, sister, and friend. She was a very beautiful woman filled with joy and excitement, and always extra friendly and engaging to people. A very loveable person that will never be forgotten. She was one of six siblings, one brother who preceded her in death, Earl Lee Stokes. Four sisters, Brenda F. Stokes-Jones, Flora A. Stokes-Alston, Hazel Stokes, and Debra L. Stokes, all of Chicago, IL. Clara leaves to cherish her loving memories and continue her legacy, her husband Lorenzo Allen; ten children, Derek J. Walton, Jamie L. Walton, Dion R. Walton, Seth A. Walton, Micah M. Head, Leah W. Head, Myron K. Head, and Myra R. Head; two from the previous relationship Michelle Scott and Michael Head Jr.; Goddaughter, Rose M. Steward; seven grandchildren, Marqese L. Bailey, Kyairi A. Walton, Kaiden A. Lee, Zoey, Marianna, Kamiyah, and Mikey Jr.; eight nieces and nephews, over ten great nieces and nephews; and a host of close family and friends.
