Connie Harton

Connie Mae Harton descended from the heavens on June 26, 1960 to the proud parents of Moses and Mary Harton. Connie was the youngest of four children, being the only girl, she was loved dearly. Connie received her education at Austin High School in Chicago, Illinois. She would layer go on to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. Connie spent her career loving and caring for others. Connie loved the Lord, it showed in her spirit and care for others. She was a member of the Apostolic Church of God under the leadership of the late Dr. Arthur Brazier. Connie was a strong, loving person and to know her was to love her. She advocated for those she loved, especially her family. Connie loved having fun, family gatherings, and bingo. She was particularly known for having great family cookouts. Connie heard a call from heaven as God called for an angel. So like dew in the morning on January 4, 2021, she answered his called and ascended on to glory to take her seat for her work here on earth was done. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers: Charles, Moses Jr., and Michael. Connie leaves to cherish her memories, three daughters: Cheryl (Charles), Nicole (Jessie), and Tiara; her two nieces she adopted: Lenae (Greg) and Shaunt’e; 19 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two stepsons; and a host of family and friends. Faith is seeing light with your heart when all eyes see in darkness.
