Mrs. Erma Jean Little Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Erma Jean Nolen Little was born December 27, 1959, in Indianola, Mississippi. She was the ninth child out of 10 children, born to King David Nolen Sr. and Ruby Mae Nolen. Erma met and married the love of her life Donnell Little Sr. together they were blessed with five children. Her life was filled being a fabulous wife, amazing mother, and adoring grandmother. Her love of God and people led her to study the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses. After making the truth her own she dedicated her life to Jehovah and symbolized her dedication through water baptism. Erma’s favorite scripture was Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, she frequently quoted to friends and especially her children. On May 31, 2022, Erma Jean Nolen-Little fell asleep in death. Her family looks forward to welcoming her back to a paradise earth where no resident will say “I am sick”. She was preceded in death by her parents King David Sr. and Ruby Mae Nolen; husband Donnell Little Sr.; sister Marcella Nolen; and two brothers Marcel Nolen and Robert Nolen. Erma leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter Channell Nolen; four sons Antonio Little, Curtis Nolen, Donnell Little Jr., and David Little; four granddaughters Dajai Nolen, Alajai Townsend, Nylinn Little and Angel Little; eleven grandsons Shawndell Burton, Curtiz Nolen, Kendell Hennings, Traivon Nolen, Courvoisier Nolen, Jessie Brinner, Jestin Brinner, David Little Jr., Daniel Nolen, Davion Nolen, and Damien Nolen; three sisters Teressa Whitehead, Sylvia Morgan, and Irene Nolen; three brothers King David Nolen Jr., Thomas Nolen, and Freddie Nolen; and a host of other relatives, and friends too numerous to mention.
