Faye Lee Dillon

July 2, 1942 - May 8, 2018

You enriched our lives with your kindness, wisdom and love. Elder Faye Lee Dillon was born July 2, 1942 in Yorktown, Arkansas to the late Rosetta Burt and Anise Sprouts. She made her transition on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. She accepted Christ was baptized at the age of 11 years old at Mount Nebo Baptist Church in Yorktown, Arkansas. She moved to Chicago in 1961, at the age of 18. She took on the career of being Head Administrator at the Spiegel Catalog Company in downtown Chicago. Later, she went back to school to get her degree in Applied Science. She also had many other jobs during her career such as Administrator of the Illinois Library Association, Head Administrator of North Riverside Bank and she also moved up to Head Administrator at the new main Post Office. She retired as an Administrator Assistant in the Tort Trial Insurance Practice Section at the American Bar Association. Faye Lee Dillon is survived by her beloved children in which she admired dearly Leonard James McCarty and Pastor Angela Faye McCarty. She excepted the responsibility as Elder, Treasurer and Bible School Teacher at The Journey Home Outreach Ministries for 10 years before our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ called her home to be with him in the Kingdom of Heaven. Faye Lee Dillon is also survived by five sisters and a brother Mozella Orr (Transitioned), Freddie Benton (Transitioned), Rosie L. Gaines (Transitioned), Juanita Triggs, Delores Clemons and Elder Elijah Anise Sprouts. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
