Mr. Glennell Blake Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Glennell Blake was born to Nathan Blake and Anna Blake, in Chicago, Illinois on January 8, 1963. He received his formal education in the Chicago Public School system attending Newberry Grammar School and Senn High School. Later on in life he acquired his GED. Glenn loved old school music, stepping, bid whist and socializing with family and friends and of course Glenn loved his “Cold” Beers. He held numerous positions with many companies as a laborer for more than 20 years. Glenn was blessed to have one son, and five daughters. He married Crystal Harris into that union three daughters were born and a second marriage Michelle Chambers two daughters were born. On April 15, 2022, Glennell Blake fell asleep in death. He was preceded in death by his parents Nathan and Anna Blake, sister Mary Ann and two brothers James and Nathan. Glenn leaves to cherish his memories, six children Antonio, Glenisha, Lakeisha “Kiki bug”, Maiesha, Porsha “Popo”, and Micheala “Katie”; nine grandchildren Bam, Diamond, Jeremy, Jerrold Jr., Jeremiah, Jakolbi, Jaeleah, Trinity, and Allisa; five siblings Eddie Lee, Queen, Nathelene, Carolyn, and Vanessa; one aunt Doris Jean Holmes; one uncle Clarence; and a host of nieces and nephews and family and friends.
