Mr. Jermey Cook Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jermey J. Cook was born July 5, 2000, to Latoya Brodanex in Harvey, Illinois. Jermey later moved to Indianapolis, Indiana with his mother. He attended Franklin Central High School in Indiana. While in high school, he worked after school, and at one point he worked two jobs to help his mom with anything she needed or wanted. Jermey loved to help his mom clean and cook. He also helped his great grandmother “Gram” clean and cook as well. Jermey was a loving person, with a beautiful smile that can light up a room. Jermey was very charming and loved to take pictures. He had many friends and loved to hang with his brothers, his sister, and his cousins. Jermey had a love for music. As a baby you could always find Jermey shaking his head to the beat of music. He wanted to become a famous music producer. He learned how to play the piano while producing his own music. He did produce one music video in 2017, which can be found on you tube. Jermey was known to his friends and some of his family as JC. On June 9, 2022, Jermey was called home to be with the Lord. He is proceeded in death by his loving mother LaToya Brodanex, His maternal grandfather James Brown and his maternal great grandfather Cecil Amos, and many others. Jermey leaves to cherish his loving memories with, his great grandmother Dorothy Brodanex “Gram”; grandmother Kimberly Brodanex; grandfather Larry Tate (Joyce); one sister Champagne Cook; two brothers Jalan and Trevon Cook; and one nephew Ahmir; he also had two special cousins which his mother helped raise, and he called them little sister and little brother Dasani and Jace; he had six maternal aunts, one uncle, and a host of many cousins, other family, and friends.
