Mrs. Jurell Bell Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jurell Bell was born into this world on April 12, 1944, in Queensland, Georgia, to Arther Campbell and Hattie Mae Campbell. Jurell joined Church at an early age at Mountain Top Baptist in Queensland, GA, she received her High School Diploma from Queensland in Queensland, GA. In addition, she attained many skills as she worked at Illinois Bell Company, Spiegel’s of Chicago, and Moo and Oink Meat warehouse. Jurell enjoyed hanging out with her husband and friends in the back yard during cookouts, playing cards, listening to music and traveling from city to city in bowling tournaments. Jurell departed this life on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. After a battle with Diabetes. Throughout it all Jurell remained resilient. She never gave up, but her body gave out. She was preceded in death by her father Arther Campbell, mother Hattie Mae Campbell, daughter Dawn R. Adkins, sister Lucille Lawson, and brothers: Lonnie Duncan and Arther Campbell Jr. Jurell leaves to cherish her memories, her husband James L. Johnson, her children: Antonio (Barbara) Campbell, Shawn Adkins, James Renal (Hortencia) Johnson, Troy (Queen) Johnson, Lovie Bernard, Olivia Perry, Chyrisse Adkins, and Tracey (Jonathan) Spinks, sister Lillian Campbell Noble (Arthur Thompson) Gary, IN, brother Albert (Mary) Campbell Albuquerque, NM and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
