Katie Mae Amos, sunset was June 3, 2020 at her residence. Katie was born in Jackson, Mississippi. She was the third oldest of five children. A daughter of the late Sadie and Sylvester Porter, Katie later moved to Chicago, Illinois where she attended John Fiske school and she graduated from Hyde Park High School, where she later met Robert Tubbs, and they had four children Stephanie, Regina, Rodney, and Richard Tubbs.
