Lynette Irby-Lesure

March 24, 1955 - June 11, 2020

Lynette Yvonne Irby, was born in Kankakee, Illinois, to the union of Huldia and Jerry Irby on March 24, 1955. Lynn graduated from Calumet High School in 1973 and went on to attend Loyola University in Chicago. Lynn then began working for Soft Sheen Carson on the south side of Chicago along side her mother for 17 years where she met a host of wonderful friends. In 1985, Lynn united in marriage with Willie Lesure and they were happily married for 25 years. She will be sorely missed. On June 11, 2020, Lynette Yvonne Irby-Lesure lost a hard battle to cancer at the age of 65, with her family by her side. Lynn leaves to cherish her memories, her mother Huldia Irby; daughter Utoria Yvonne Irby-Coulter; son-in-law Michael Coulter; stepson Anthony Gaines and family; grandchildren Ashly Yvonne Matthews, David Charles Matthews, and DeAndre Charles Matthews; great grandchildren Alayah Yvonne Clark, Jamel Christian Matthews, Angel Renee Matthews, and Kayden Amir Holliman; and a host of family and friends. She will be missed by everyone she touched with her giving and caring support that she always gave to people without asking for anything in return.
