Michael Cade was born October 2, 1956, the only son of William and Jeanette Cade. He was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He attended elementary school at Jane A Neil and Arthur Dixon and high school at CVS. He was accepted and attended The Milwaukee School of Engineering. During and after high school Michael worked has an Andy Frain Usher. Many of his friends benefited from that job because of all the concerts they were able to attend without having to purchase a ticket. After leaving Andy Frain, Michael started working at Sears Roebuck & Company where he was employed for many years. It was there that he met Shellie Ann McSwain, who would soon become his wife. They were married on August 16, 1984. To this union was born their only child Michael Cade Jr. After leaving Sears, Michael decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and join the taxicab industry. He began working alongside with his father and went on to eventually own his own taxicab. He was a taxi driver for over 20 years establishing life-long relationships with other drivers and his clients. When not driving the cab, Michael could be found pursuing two his favorite activities…bowling and working on cars. He was a member of several bowling leagues including the South Side Mix, Saturday South East VA Mix and King Bowl. He served as captain of the Low Down Dirty League for over 20 years. He was the squad leader for the annual Cincinnati Hoinke Tournament until his health began to fail. He won many bowling trophies and was extremely proud of his 3 rings for bowling perfect games. Michael passed the evening of December 22, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents. Michael is survived by, his wife Shellie Ann Cade; his son Michael Cade Jr.; two sisters Vicki Cade and Linda Cade; his faithful friend Cecil Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
