Patricia Ann Wright Smith was born from the union of Frances and Johnnie Wright in West Memphis, Arkansas on September 22, 1959. Patricia was the second oldest of her six siblings. She married Dennis C. Smith Sr, one son Dennis C. Smith Jr. and one daughter, Erika D. Smith were born from this union. Patricia touched the lives of many from her vibrant personality to her words of wisdom she gave to those around her. She graduated from Calumet High School and received her Masters degree in Business from National Louis University. Patricia had a rigorous journey starting from The Taylor Business Institute to progressively working her way into her business manager role for The Chicago Public School system, and remained at CPS for 16+ years. Patricia leaves to mourn, her son, Dennis Jr.; and daughter, Erika; grandson Erin Esther; brothers: Tommie Wright, Bennie Wright, Maurice Wright, and Corey Wright; and youngest sister Macey Wright; brother-in-law, Alvin A. Smith Jr.; four nieces, two nephews, and a host of other cherished relatives and friends. Patricia will be greatly missed by all those who loved and admired her.
