    Mrs. Regina Steels

    October 22, 1954 - December 16, 2021

On October 22, 1954, Regina was first of five children born to Shelton and Jean Williams in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Acadmey of Our Lady Catholic High School, also known as Longwood. Regina gave her life to God at a very young age. She was united in marriage to Leroy Steels on November 23, 1973. To their union, were born three children; Reginald, Michael, and Angela. Regina was a devoted employee of Joselyn for over a decade. Regina was the rock and the glue of her family, of which she loved dearly. In the later years of her life, she showered those around her with love and care, whether family or not. She always went out of her way, to give a helping hand to anyone in need. She was always a beacon of light for those who felt dark. She never turned a soul in need, away. She loved to cook for her family, and her favorite pastime was an outing to the casino! On December 16, 2021, Regina closed her eyes and rested from her labors. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two sisters. Regina Steels leaves to cherish loving memories, her three children Reginald, Michael, and Angela; sister Stephanie Guice; brother Shelton Williams Jr.; ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two nieces, one nephew, aunts, uncles, and a host of cousins, in-laws, other relatives, and friends.
