October 18, 1960 - March 4, 2020
Our beloved Rosemary “Rosie” Moore was born on October 18, 1960 at St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights to Chrisella and Dorthy Louise Cornelius. Rosie accepted Christ as her Lord and Saviour as a child but was born again and baptized on December 20, 2002 by Bishop James A. Jones at True Foundations Church. She was a life-long resident of Chicago Heights which is where she met the love of her life Robert Moore. Bishop Jones had the honor of joining these two in Holy Matrimony on August 6, 1988 in Chicago Heights, IL. Together Robert and Rosie had two children Robert Tamaris “Boopie” Moore (son) and Sonay Darnelle “Nay Nay” Moore (daughter), whom she leaves behind to cherish her every lesson and loving memories. In addition to being a loyal wife and loving mother Rosemary Moore dedicated 41 years of her life as a hard working employee of Winpak Portion Packaging of South Chicago Heights, IL. She was hired on February 14, 1979 in the Quality Department on the B-Shift. At Winpak she performed multiple jobs and advanced through various promotions over the years. Rosie never complained, was always about her business, with her affairs in order, she was just a few short years from early retirement. She loved her job and loved her Winpak family even more. In recent years Rosie lived life to the fullest, as if every day was her last. She enjoyed traveling, experiencing different cultures, and trying exquisite cuisines abroad. She had the time of her life on her most recent “Rosie takes Italy 2019” trip, “Girls Getaway Paris 2018” and “Bestie Bahamas Cruise 2015”. It’s hard to count the number of trips she’s taken; from her 50th Birthday Cruise with her Big Sis to the many trips domestically with her family. Rosie had no plans of stopping there, as she had already planned her 60th Birthday Cruise. Besides traveling the world, she enjoyed attending family events, and spending time with her siblings, friends, and especially her beloved grandchildren. Rosie was a compassionate, considerate, and caring Daughter, Sister, Cousin, Auntie, Wife, Mother, Grand Mother, Great Grandmother, God Mother and Bestest Friend to those who had the pleasure of knowing her. On Wednesday, March 4, 2020, God called his Angel Rosemary Moore home. Opening his gates and letting his light shine bright, as she was met by those who preceded her in death. Her Father and Mother Chrisella and Dorthy Louise Cornelius; Paternal Grandparents Tim Cornelius and Dhonis McCann; Maternal Grandparents Mack and Erelene McGhee; Debra (Stanley) Guyes (Sister), Larry Everett (Nephew), LeQuan Emil Cornelius (Great Nephew), Kiante Juvell Albert (Grandson), and a host of Aunties, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends.
