Rosie L. Branch

July 18, 1932 - February 8, 2021

Loving and gracious have often been used to descride our dear kind Rosie Branch. She was born on July 18, 1932 to David Jones Sr. and Alisa Moore. Rosie was educated in Bibb County, Alabama After studing the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses, Rosie decided to dedicate her life to Jehovah and symbolize that dedication through water baptism on June 29, 1974. Soon after her baptism Rosie begin her career as a regular pioneer. She did this for over 30 years. Rosie loved to sew and make hand made-quilts. She loved home cooked southern food, especially tea-cakes. She was loved by all and known for zeal for Bible truth. She was loved and adored by family and all who knew her. She was known for her exceptional sense of humor and story telling. Often she was liken to a trodden dove 🕊 by her dear pioneer sisters. An expression described in Isaiah 52:7 “How beautiful are the feet of the one bringing good news”...she was eager to share good news to all. On February 7, 2021, Rosie Branch fell asleep in death. She was preceded in death by her parents David and Alisa, four brothers and three sisters. Rosie is survived by, Lizzie Mae Branch (Willie Jackson), William Henry Branch (Jean Marie), Arlean Branch, Lucy Mae Branch, Carol Burnett Branch, Elois Branch Harbaugh (Paul Harbaugh), Jessie Lee Branch, Robert Lee Branch, Aaron Dobyne and Fannie Mae Dobyne; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Tiffany Lolita Branch’s presence delighted her grandmother. Along with a host of spiritual families that loved her dearly.
