Roy Nathaniel Viverette, also known as Big Roo, was born on August 15, 1970, in Harvey, Illinois. He is the son of Marie Smith and Floyd Hampton, Jimmy Viverette and Esther Viverette. Roy graduated from Rich East High School in Park Forest, Illinois. He was self employed. Roy believed in God and was baptized at an early age at Peace Baptist Church. He was the Founder and CEO of Gorilla Beast Motorcycle Club Chicago Chapter. He was a member of the Ruff Riders Motorcycle Club. Roy lived every day to the fullest, he enjoyed traveling and his outgoing easy personality made him a favorite with the ladies. He enjoyed cooking for family and friends. He was a master at making the ordinary (macaroni and cheese and meat loaf) into the extraordinary. His cakes and sweets will be missed in the neighborhood. Roy put love into everything he made. Roy leaves to cherish his memory, his parents Marie Smith, Floyd Hampton, Jimmy Viverette and Esther Viverette; his children Shakita, Roy Jr., Antoinette, Lyaila, TKayah, Chakiyah, Shakyra and Shamyra; beloved grandchildren Keyjuan, Paul, Je’Kayla, Leilani, Royce and Amir; siblings Kita, Jimmy Jr., Kunta, Jesse, Loretta, Denise, Leon, Antonio, Theodore, Latisha, Latoria, Damaus, Gregory, Demario, Jonathan, Jamarr, Erica, Natasha, Kamilah, Floyd, Sandre, Heaven, and Floyd Edward; a host of 98 nieces and nephews; special brothers Rico, Rex, and special friend James; two great aunts Elsie and Minnie; four aunts Louise, Nellie, Wendy and Teresita; God-sister Kay Johnson; and a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.
