Walter White Jr., affectionately known as “JR”, was born on October 29, 1950 to the union of Walter Sr. and Pearl White. Water was a graduate of Bloom High School and later did online classes at University of Phoenix. Walter gave his life to Christ at an early age was baptized at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church under the teaching of Reverend J. Gentry Horace. Walter worked in several professions. He was a gifted musician and was taught piano and organ by Mr. Norman D. Lee. He was minister of music in several churches over his lifetime. He later did long-distance driving for Kickert Bus lines and later for Neal Bus Services. He left music and bus driving to begin working in the Funeral Home business. He worked for McCullough Funeral Home for over 15 years until his death. He was an active tax preparer until his death. He was an active Mason. He was the Worshipful Master of St. James Lodge 355. He was the go to person for his young relatives. His nieces and nephews always went to him for advice and guidance. Walter made his transition on Tuesday, August 27, 2019. Walter‘s father Walter Sr., sister Sharon White-Fuller; brother Nathaniel; nephew Eric Sweatt; and best friend Bishop Darnell Hopkins preceded him in death. Walter leaves to cherish his happy memories and love of family, is son Darryl Monroe (Nyeshia); his mother Pearl L. White; four sisters Mary Helen Street, Sylvia P. White, Juanita Sweatt, and Patricia Young; eight grandchildren Paris, Duane, Allanah, Tyshaun, DaKayla, Darryll Jr., Darrell, and Dariah; eight nieces Tina, Joyce, Natira (Morris), Journey, Angel, Nia, Amber, and Moriah; six nephews Reginald, Claude Jr. (Tania), Michael, Jordan, Aaron, and Cameron; one uncle Henry White; two sisters-in-kaw Tawannia White and Joyce White; two Godbrothers Andrew Turner and Kelvyn Herbin; Godsons Steven Lewis and Sir George Washington. Best friends Edmond Shegog, Frank Lewis, and Reverend Ellis Franklin; and a host of other family and friends.
