January 18, 1955 - July 3, 2020
William Henry Suber Jr., son of William Henry Suber Sr. and Delphener P. Suber, was born on January 18, 1955 in The Bronx, New York City, New York. He was the eldest of five children. As a young boy, his parents moved from New York City, New York to Chicago, Illinois where he attended grammar school at Avalon Park and high school at Chicago Vocational School. Upon graduating in 1973, Henry enlisted into the United States Army and was a Paratrooper for the 82nd Airborne Division. After completion of service he trained and worked as a Heating and Air Technician of Coyne Heating Company in New York City from the mid 80's to early 90's. In the mid 90's, Henry found his true passion of being a truck driver and travelled across the country until an unfortunate accident that left him wheelchair bound in 2002. Refusing to be defined by the accident, he pressed on with his passion and started Suber's Trucking Company from the comfort of his home and continued to manage until his untimely death. Henry leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Barbara Penny and William Henry Suber III; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; three siblings, Lionel Suber, D'jewel Suber, and Christopher Suber; his beloved cousin Junior; and extended family in New York. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
