Yeashur MoShack Ben-Ysreal Figgures was born April 20, 1970. Yeashur was the first born to Henrietta Hurt and George E. Ridley in Chicago, Illinois. He grew up on the West side of Chicago with his four brothers Malachi Hurt, Donhimi Hurt, Benahdon Hurt, and Enoch Figgures and one sister Yonah Figgures. Yeashur had other brothers and sisters on his father, George Ridley side of the family Brian Ridley, Fee Ridley, Lawanda Ridley, T-Man Ridley, Sean Ridley, Wilson Ridley, Angel Ridley, Akeenyya Ridley, Tunde Ridley, Fumi Ridley, and Olu Ridley. Yeashur was the first grandchild to his mother’s side of the family, whom he spent his first two years (1970-1972) of life in Israel with. He was a Hebrew Israelite and believed in the High Power. He started driving, learned how to fish and slaughter a cow all at the age of 13, with his grandmother. Although Yeashur earned his G. E. D. In 1995, he was a awesome wrestler at East Aurora High School. Yeashur loved people, animals (mainly dogs), fast cars and fast motorcycles. Yeashur was a handyman and could fix or build anything he put his mind too. He was a loving man with a big heart who enjoyed life at life’s terms. His love of motorcycles spilled over to many people. He would take everyone for a ride on the back of his bike while popping wheelies. He taught everyone to drive between the ages of 9 to 13 years of age. On June 21, 2019 Yeashur MoShack Ben-Ysreal closed his eyes and rested from his labors. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Kenneth Figgures and Dewy “Oviad” Washington; grandmothers Alberta Ridley and Odessa “Sah-tah” Washington whom he loved dearly; father George Ridley; uncles Kenneth Figgures, Herbert Figgures, and Carl Figgures; aunties Yaffa “Pooh” Washington, Barbara Rollins, and Bernice “Doll” Robinson; and his twin grandsons Michael Bickett and Dustin Bickett. Yeashur left behind nine children whom he loved dearly Shya Antioninette JaCree Figgures, Yeashea Mo’Shea Ben-Ysreal Figgures (Margaret “Dimples” Figgures), Justin Avery Bickett (Sonia Bickett), Kezha Lakiya Figgures (Jessa Matthews), Mariah Williams, Angel Nasya Baht-Ysreal Figgures, Lovey Ah-Lyah Dorana Baht-Ysreal Figgures, Yeashur Massiah Ben Isreal Figgures-Ridley, Yohan Yeashur Ben-Ysreal Figgures-Ridley; (Ignacia M. Shaw, mother and longtime companion of Yeashur before making his transition). He was a great teacher to his children and taught them the importance of life and family. He was a proud grandfather of five grandchildren Johnathan Ben-Ysreal (Shyla), Za’Mari Lawton (Yeashea), Dustin and Michael Bickett (Justin and Paige Bickett). Yeashur was like the family celebrity; he was well loved on both sides of the family!
