Michelle Denise Moore

Michelle Denise Moore was born June 3, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois to John Stephens and Daisy Thurmond. She was the youngest of her ten siblings. Michelle graduated from Jones Commercial High School in 1986 and furthered her education by receiving a Bachelors degree in Business Management from Chicago State University in 2010. In her professional career, Michelle served as an Executive Secretary for many years lending her expertise to several Fortune 500 companies. In 1985, Michelle met the love of her life, Allan Fredrick Moore. They were joined in union before Jehovah on April 26, 1986. From this union, Jehovah blessed them with two children, Allan Fredrick Moore Jr. and Aaron Anthony Moore. On September 15, 1979, Michelle made one of the most important decisions of her life by making a personal dedication to Jehovah and symbolized her dedication by water baptism. Michelle was a serious student of God's Word. She enjoyed discussing the many gems she found in her personal Bible study. Her genuine love for Jehovah motivated her to serve as a full time servant for a combination of over 27 years, many of those years while raising a family. She was known for her tremendous love for people. This love was evident in her ministry, within her family, and in her professional career. She especially enjoyed studying the Bible with interested persons, quite a number of which, she assisted to dedication and baptism. Aside from being a zealous preacher, Michelle enjoyed the privilege of working along with the Regional Building and the Local Design Committees on various Kingdom Hall construction projects. For one month in 2015, Michelle had the special privilege of being invited and participating on the building work for the new World Headquarters of Jehovah's Witnesses in Warwick, New York. As Michelle often expressed, "serving on the Warwick project was a life changing experience!" On August 2, 2016, Michelle Denise Moore fell asleep in death. She is preceded in death by her father John Stephens, grandmother Madora Archer, and brother Phillip Stephens. Michelle leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband of 30 years Allan Sr.; her mother Daisy Phillips; her children Allan Jr. and Aaron (Danielle) and grandchild she was unable to meet Mia Michelle Moore; her siblings Nina, Maxine, Nathan, Barbara, John Jr., Judy, Marietta, Tracy, and Walter; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
