Patricia Ann Heard

Patricia Ann Heard was born September 12, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois to Frankie and John Heard. Patricia was the third oldest of 18 siblings. Pat gave her life to Christ at an early age of 11 at Friends & Family Baptist Church. She received her Evangelist license from Bishop Gregory Dillard. Pat later joined Christ Temple #2 under the leadership of Elder Walter Futrell, where she was an active member. Pat graduated from Lindblom High School and attended Prairie State College for 2 years. She worked at Stauffer Chemical until she was unable to work. She was a licensed Beautician, very talented and crafty. She was known in the 1980’s for being the master of the Jeri Curl. Her favorite color was red, which was a reminder of Jesus’ blood that was shed. Pat enjoyed life and spending time with God and in His Word. Her biggest smile was the times she spent with her MOM. She LOVED her MOM. She loved when it was time to be with the entire family, cooking, laughing, eating and reflecting on the good old days. This gave her great joy. She always reminded her family of how God saved and delivered her and God’s promise of eternal life. Pat was a strong and outspoken woman. No one was a stranger in her presence. If she had something to say to an individual, she would tell them herself so they would not leave her presence wondering. Pat was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; her dad, John Heard; her stepdad, Aaron Lewis Sr.; her brother, Michael Hale; nieces, Renee and Karen McDonald; nephews, John McDonald, Lamar Simpson and Terrance Lewis; and her aunt and uncle, Robert and Inez Robinson. Pat leaves her loving spirit and cherished memories to her mom, Frankie Lewis; three daughters, Eugenia Montgomery (Benny), Tarisha Heard (Ricardo) and LaTanya Heard (Lindsey); seven sisters, Katherine, Wilma, Adria (Vernon), Deborah (Johnny), Denise (Dion), Chanel and Faye; a close sister-in-law, Claudette Hale; nine brothers, Aaron Jr., Bernard (Debra), James (Eleane), Anthony (Jaime), Reginald (Lisa), Frank, Daniel, Jermaine and Steve; four grandchildren, Totiana (Jovan), Archie, known as her twin Lil Patricia Ann (LaVan) and Jalynn; three great grandchildren, Jovan Jr., Trevon and Paris; special doctor and friend, Dr. Robert Watkins; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
